When preparing to move house you need to know how to find the right moving company for you. In order to find that moving company you need to do your research, how do you know what moving company will be the right one for our family? How do you know if they will respect you and your property, are they just out to scam you out of your money and belongings? First things first, do your online research, get recommendations, make phone calls and ask questions. Also, when agreeing on a contract, be sure to speak to the representative about what happens in the case of over booking, busy months or even the chance someone falls sick, who will be taking care of your move then?

Great, everyone needs help sometimes and it's nice to know they know to ask for help, but did they ask you how you felt about it? Have they given you the chance to find out about this company, how the company you book with knows if the client will be ok with a move like this.

One last thing, before you book your moving company call your insurance company and see what they can do for you. Maybe they can cover any mishaps with moving, maybe not, also be sure to ask about what kind of insurance your moving company has. If they do happen to break something how much replacement costs will you get back, and how long do you have to put in the claim? Choosing a moving company is a big deal, they are moving everything you own and you want to be sure it gets to your new location safely. Take the time and ask the right questions.
